Welcome to 2023! An exciting year awaits as Wishart Eagles FC has officially been handed over to new management and the rebuilding journey begins.
A number of key areas of focus have been identified by the Management Committee including:
- Rebranding. We share our logo with a local futsal club and share our name with another football club in our suburb. They deserve their own identity and so do we, so keep an eye out for this!
- Expanding our offering. With management that is new to the Football Queensland environment, it is in everyone’s best interest that we don’t go too big too soon. We are taking the time this year to learn the system, so that we can offer a polished product moving forward. Expect to see fields full of juniors from 2024 onwards.
- Loyalty and culture. We want to bring back the one club player. We believe that the right players in the right environment builds the right culture. It is our responsibility to provide the pathways, opportunities and incentives for players to be a part of our club and reach their potential. Increasing discounts for each consecutive year of membership never hurts either.
- Premium Product. Football is far to easily associated with a lack of organisation and solutions provided can often be cheap and nasty or expensive and not fit for purpose. We want a well organised, premium product at the minimum viable cost. Simple.
- Fees. We want our members to know where their money goes. We know that life is expensive and so is running a football club. But it hurts less when you know what you are paying for.
